Snow Day

So it snowed again.............whats new! I got off work to see Derrick up the street with Jack using the new snow blower on our neighbors Steves house. Jack just loves the snow and we always throw snow at him, he tries to dodge but doesn't always succeed, he cracks me up so bad. I wanted to takes some pics of us enjoying our day!

My Birthday

I had, once again, another GREAT BIRTHDAY!!! I got my hair done by my mother-in-law and it looks amazing as always. Then I came home to a wonderful bouque of flowers from Derrick with a letter attached to it that included a poem, which I wil post for you. I cried like a little girl when I read the letter. Derrick really knows how to show he truly loves and cares for me. Then he took me out to dinner to the Texas Roadhouse with Brandon and Chandell. Thanks guys for coming with us it was nice to spend sometime with you. And we spent the rest of the night just hangin out. I got a few clothes and then I went an had a messege today. I loved being home and having long weekends if only I could work part time and make what I make now:)

Valentine's Day

Well Happy Valentine's Day to everyone. I hope that everyone was loved by someone this year and if not well I would guess "THAT SUCKS FOR YOU." Today I wanted to make Derrick a really nice home cooked meal and have a candle lit dinner. Well lets just say I made the dinner there was no candle light and we ate it at the station. Yes Derrick had to work so I brought my fancy stuffed pork chops to him. It was the first time that I made them and I really liked how they turned out. I even shared with my neighbor Steve, I am so nice I know :) Well my birthday is in TWO DAYS and I am so excited, I have no idea why. I hope that I have a great time with my family and get to spend sometime with Derrick. I took a few days off next week so lets all cross our fingers cuz I really miss him with all the work and school he has going on.

Update.....

A little update for those of you I don't get to talk to every day. Our main computer died last week and I lost a lot of information and memories :( So we are now getting if fixed and I am really upset that I lost tons of pictures. I think about 9 months ago Derrick backed up everything that we had saved but nothing since then. Also there was Derricks school research paper on there and now he has to rewrite the whole thing. I think that I took it harder then Derrick did. Derrick has a new position at work and I am so proud of him with all that he has done in his life, now all I need him to do is make plus my salary and I can take some time off from work and just be me. That is my ideal thought but if you know me I would just go crazy sitting at home all day doing nothing. And I don't want to turn into any of the women in my neighborhood that is a fear itself. Jack is great, he is so loving and it breaks my heart to have to leave him at home all day. Every morning when I am getting ready and Derrick is gone he gets this sad puppy face on and stares at me in the bathroom. Then when I walk out into the living room he goes straight to his kennel and lays down and gives the look again. I love him to death!!!!

Well wish us luck in that we have more saved then I think we do so I don't have to re-download songs and what photos I do have on disc back to the new hard drive. I will do better at backing all docs up next time. "Peace out girl scouts"
