MERRY CHRISTMAS Everyone!!! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families. I was able to have a fun 9 days off from work which allowed me some much need TLC with my cute family. We took Soph to see Temple Square for the first time, which we had a great time for the first few moments of the night but I think it was just way to cold for my monkey to be outside.

We did the annual Christmas Eve party at G-ma Elaine's House! I always look forward to spend some time with D's extended family. This is really the only time we ever see them unless there is a wedding or something like that. WE ATTEMPTED to take a family photo with everyone in it and have it be successful...... we at least we tried RIGHT!?!?!?! I will wait for Jenn to touch up the photo then I will get it posted.

Derrick had to work on Christmas day which totally sucks big time. So we did family presents with my in laws house so that we could have some time together watching Sophie opens her gifts. SHE got so SPOILED and that is an under statement for sure. As you will see in the photos at the end of the post. All I can say is A PONY!!! Thank you family for all the wonderful things that you do for us each and everyday. We truly are in debt to each and every one of you!!!

Our adventure continued with me and Sophie at my mothers house Christmas morning where she always makes us a HUGE feast of food which could feed an army of people. There was 11 people total and 1/2 are children. Got to Love MY MOM!! I am sure leftovers are on the table for a week :) We end the night at D's dads house where we were able to finally get to spend some time with my husband! We had a very relaxing night with the family which is the best way to end a holiday.

We love all of you so much for taking time to read up on our family! I will do my best to stay up to date in the new year.

DANCING PRINCESS

This is Sophie DANCING it up at Sam's Club! She is listening to that special, most favorite singer of mine.....GAGA NOT!!

Sophie is having so much fun dancing away at the music. Plus she is to young to know how silly she looks at this point. One day she will love her parents so much I think that she will be seen in public with us! TBD.

FIRST BIRTHDAY

WOW!!!! Were the hell has the time gone. It feels like yesterday that my girl was a "LiTTle BeaN" in my belly. Now she has taken her first real steps today and I could not be more excited for it. 1st of all.... I was finally there to witness one of these wonderful MILESTONES in her life. I was starting to think that I was going to miss out on everything because I work full time. This has been very hard for me to work all the time, maybe one day I will be able to stay home with Sophie..... one day.

Sophie, you are the best thing that has happened in our lives! Your parents truly love everything about you. When I hold you in my arms, you melt my heart. You make all the silly things in life not matter. To watch you grow over this past year has been a true blessing. I can't wait for our next adventures in life together as a family. We will always be here for you and so will your whole family.

***FOURTH OF JULY***

Yea it is about time that the FOURTH is here. It is my MOST favorite time of the year!!! We started the day off at the Clearfield parade. Which was more fun for myself than Sophie. She had no clue what was going on but she was a trooper throught my entertainment :)


We had lunch with my family and made plans to watch the FIREWORKS from my mother back yard. Well we decided that was not good enough and we should go over the the park! We met up with Chandell, Brandon, and D's friend Shawn. We have found the prefect spot for us to sit!! I hope we do it again next year and MAYBE more of our family and friends will choose to join us in the festivities....... you know who you are =

NEW MILE STONE

Today I learned to CRAWL!!!!! Yep everyone this is a whole crazy added into our lives. Only waiting to see the kinds of troubles she is going to creat for us.

Sandy Aquarium

We just got back from our trip and wanted to do something fun with Soph. So we went to the Aquarium in Sandy for a fun little date with her daddy for fathers day!

Soph LOVED all the different animals. She would try to touch them through the glass and failed at her attempts. She was so so cute with the penguins, I wanted to cry to see how happy she was to see them swimming around following her.

CANCUN 2011

We finally took our much needed vacation! Had a blast in Cancun. There is so much to see outside of the resorts and I recommend everyone to see the history. No matter where you go you will find great adventures through your travels.





Hoping to take another trip here in the next year and we are going to be taking the little money with us. It is hard to leave your child behind so we are So happy to be back home with our little girl. We woke her up at 11:30 p.m. just to kiss on her!! I missed her dearly and we are so thankful to our families for helping watch our little girl. WE are here to return the favor when you are ready to use us.

EIGHT MONTHS

Here is our little money at 8 months. Time is going by so fast and it breaks my heart not being with her every moment in her life.

This little girl is truely the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am so glad to call her my PRINCESS.

Soon thing little monster is going to be one before we know it :(

7....7..SEVEN MONTHS

Holy Cow my little Girl is SEVEN months everyone. Where has the time gone, no seriously where!?!?!?!?! I feel like this year is flying by so fast and this is so sad for me :( I think back to when she first was born and how tiny she was. Now she is this "BIG" little girl who has personality with some attitude for sure. I say big in the nicest way but this girl is off the charts in her height!!!!





I am so proud to have Sophie as MY BABY GIRL..... I would never change that for the world. U hear all the time how kids change ur life and ur not kidding. My life is so amazing with this child and I look forward to many more milestones and adventures with her =}
