Christmas Morning

Well the time has finally come for th over the top spendign of our parents. Which would like to rename them at this time to: THE GRANDPARENTS!!! Oh you that you love the new name my loved ones =} This was Sophies 1st Christmas with us and we look forward to many more spent together! She was all dressed up on her "Team Santa" outfit which I found to be very suitable for the day. I wanted to post a few pick of the morning. I am trying really hard to take tons of pictures but I think that I am failing myself ever so slowly............

Today we took Sophie to see SANTA CLAUSE at dad's house for a special house visit ;) I know she is really not aware of what is happening and I know that as the next few years go on the day will become that more special for all of us!!

The Nutcracker

Tonight Derrick and me went to The Nutcracker down in SLC. Tell you the truth I have falling in love with the ballet. I am thinking that we are going to have to make this more of a tradition for the two of us. Then when Sophie gets older I would love to take her to see it as well. Derrick bought me a little green Nutcracker man so I will have something to remember that night with!!! Thanks Jenn for letting us have a magical night out and taken care of our precious little princess

I wanted list a few of the things that I am thankful for:



1~ My husband Derrick, without him I have no idea where I would be in life. He is my rock and I and so greatful to have him as my man.
2~ Our little girl Sophie Lee Pyles!!! She has changed my life in so many wonderful ways. She is the biggest joy in my life =]

3~ OUR family for always being there for us when we needed you.

4~ The amazing friends that have always been there and you know who you are.

5~ My work family that always stood by me from day one.

Trick or.... what rain?!?!

Trick or treat blog family~

What crazy weather we had for this outside holiday. I wish that the weather was better so that we could have had more time getting treats. Not that Sophie can have candy, (we gave it all to the twins), she is only one month old. Well we got Sophie dressed in her Lady Bug outfit and headed to the salon to see Grandma Lisa!!! We took pictures with Jenn (Lady Gaga) and Chandell (Hot Pirate) which they both looked amazing!!!

Home to meet the Roundy family at the house to go trunk or treating up the street. Gavin carried around Sophie's bucket and collected candy for our sweet girl. People kept asking why he felt special to have two buckets. So Heather had to explain to all the peeps that he was holding it for his cousin. After we got rained out we headed to the Pizza Factory with my mom, the Roundys!!! Love their pizza it is truely amazing.

1 month

Today Sophie is ONE month old and it feels like yesterday that she was born. Time is going by so fast and it is pretty sad for me because I know that my day is coming for when I have to go back to work. I am not ready to leave her. I absolutely love the time that we have together. Her little coos that she make, oh and her facial expressions are quit comical!! I am hoping that we get her on a better sleeping schedule at night. We have some good ones and some bad ones but our time will come when she sleeps through the night and we will then get some sleep as well. I don't remember life beings as meaningful before my little girl and I would never change it for the world.
Sophie stays up more and more each day. Which on one hand is amazing but then again it is hard to keep her entertained and happy. I love to watch her stare at me and give me all her funny expressions!!! She sure does know how to make me smile:)
Both our familys love her and we see them more now than we ever have. It is great to have them around to spend time with her. If there is one thing I want in her life is a great present with family so she will always have someone to turn too! A few time that I get out to run some quick erans, I got scorned by my fam and friends. Gavin is one that LOVES his new little cousin.... he is so cute with her and always wants to hold her when he is around. It is priceless the two of them. I am excited for our next adventure with the twins I am hoping that we can get a good picture of the three together! If it works I will be posting those up right away.

Sophie's 1st bath

oh how excited I am to have her umbilical cord fall off. Not the most beautiful thing to look at. We were a little hessitant that she might not like the water but she seems not to really mind the water, I think that she even enjoys taking a bath!!! Her a a few of the photo opts that we had to take of her.

Sophie Lee Pyles

My little girl has finally made it to the world to grace us all with smile! She was 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. She is my prefect little princess~ I can't stop looking at her and feeling this overwhelming amount of love for her. It is so hard to explain all the feelings that fill our hearts for this little person. She takes my breath away every time I look at her. Sophie make life seem so priceless.
We checked into the hospital and were in our delivery room at 9 in the morning. Derrick and I sat around taking with our funny and entertaining nurse Jeri. She sure was a hoot and made things seem not so stressful. I felt that I was doing pretty good one the stress levels until Jeri came in and said that Jed, my doctor, was going to be coming in to break my water. I started to freak out because I was still waiting for my epidural. Then the door opened and my heart dropped but it was Dr. Silver to give me the epidural then Jed walked in and I told him he was not allowed to break my water till the drugs kicked in. At this time I had sent my mother and Derrick to go get something to eat so that they wouldn't go all day without anything. My sister had stopped in on her lunch to see how I was doing, thanks Heather I really needed you there!!! So if it had not been for her I would have had to get the epidural on my own. Which those who know me best I HATE NEEDLES with a passion. Time came and went after that and started pushing at 7:25 and Sophie was born at 7:44 p.m. I love you Derrick, thank you for the most perfect girl in the world. I don't know if I could have done it without you. You make my life so amazing and I am glad that we went through this incredible experience together.

Before delivery....

So I went to the doc's on the 20th and told him that I was ready and done being pregnant. I feel like time is moving at turtle speed when it comes to the end. I didn't think that my doc would let me go earily but when I told him he said how about next tuesday........... oh at the moment I started to regret saying that. So I am getting induced on TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 28, 2010. This is going to be my little girls birthday. I am so excited to have my little girl, life is not ever going to be the same!! I hope that she is a good sleeper so that I don't have to go without too much of that. I know that Derrick and me will be so loving her!!!

Derrick has a tear in his knee and is having surgery on thursday only 5 days before we head to the hospital to have a baby. I am worried that he will take longer for him to heel but he seems to think that he is super man and will heel in a few days. I wish him the best and for a fast recovery! I love you babe get better fast so that I can have your help with Sophie~

Memory Grove

My wonderful sister Heather wanted to do belly pictures with Derrick and me. She picked to do them at Memory Grove. This was my first time very going there and I have to say it is beautiful!! Recommend to anyone that may be taking any family photos, to go there. I am really glad that I got to spend the day with my wonderful husband, we will now get to remember this day forever.... or at least till the pictures are still around :}






I am so proud of the work Heather did!!!! We did the pictures so that we could display them at my shower she is throwing me next saturday. I know that they will look amazing next to all her cute decore she has planned to display. I hope that you enjoy our pictures as much as we do!!!

Sophie has been really super active these days. Always kicking, moving, or even trying to pretude out of my stomach. I want to cry every day because it sure doesn't feel that great to tell you the truth. I love knowing that she is there and will soon grace us with her presence.










I hope that you love the photos! We can't wait for Sophie, I want to hold and kiss her all the time. I just know that she is going to be a great addition to our growing family.

I know I have been slacking on the belly bump pictures...... SORRY.

So here are a few pictures that I finally have put on to the computer. The top ones are from today "30 week along." Which I am super ExCiTed about, I only have ten week left. It is so crazy to think that in only a few weeks left Sophie will be here to grace us with her presence!

These are from the fourth of July at my grandma's BBQ. I don't love these pictures........ I feel like I am wearing a tent. Prego clothes are totallly not the most flattering outfits out there. I will be happy when we are done with the tents.

I hope that everyone enjoyed the update, I am going to really try to make sure that we keep up on the belly pictures for the rest of the pregnancy. We are still working on Sophie's room so when we get it all finished then I will make sure that I post pics.
